Job summary

Mach Industries, a defense technology company based in Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design, analysis, test, and verification of mechanical and electromechanical systems for next-generation platforms.

You will own structural engineering from requirements to production, optimize for manufacturability and weight, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to solve challenging hardware problems while iterating designs with real hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in mechanical or related field.
• Hands-on end-to-end hardware development experience.
• Strong CAD skills with NX and/or SolidWorks, plus GD&T (ASME Y14.5).

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design from concept to mass production.
• Lead hands-on testing and design validation activities.
• Drive manufacturability, part selection and tolerance stack-up.
• Perform analytical modeling and FEA to guide decisions.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to hardware development milestones.
