Job summary

DLR Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for Mission Critical Projects to lead the design and coordination of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems for data centers and related facilities. This role requires collaboration with architects, engineers and clients to deliver reliable, scalable solutions using BIM workflows in Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in mechanical or architectural engineering.
• 10+ years in MEP/integrated design for commercial/public projects.
• 5+ years designing data center systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, engineers and clients on integrated designs.
• Create and coordinate documents using Revit.
• Perform mechanical/HVAC, plumbing and fire protection calculations.
• Write and review specifications.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs and submittals.
• Conduct site visits and manage project teams.
