Job summary

Meade has a job opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to be an integral member of our design team. The scope of projects will include data centers, industrial buildings, offices and other high-profile construction projects.

This role will be highly collaborative amongst Meade staff, clients, vendors, and external disciplines. Travel to job sites may be required for site observations and client meetings.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of mechanical engineering design experience on data centers or mission-critical projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Valid Mechanical P.E. license preferred.
• Experience working independently and mentoring junior staff.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and energy codes.
• Excellent written and oral communication, organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Drive projects through design and construction phases.
• Design mechanical and plumbing systems for data centers.
• Oversee the production of all mechanical designs, systems and drawings.
• Work amongst a cross-discipline design team, owners, and contractors to develop drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with external vendors, internal design teams and manufacturers.
• Major equipment selection and scheduling.
