Job summary

Meade is a full-service design firm seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our design team. You will contribute to data centers, industrial buildings, offices and other high-profile projects, driving design and coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal disciplines.

Travel to job sites may be required. The role requires 4+ years of mechanical design experience, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and a PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Mechanical Engineering design experience in data centers or mission-critical projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and managing priorities.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and energy codes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Independently drive projects forward through design and construction phases.
• Design mechanical and plumbing systems for data centers.
• Oversee the production of all mechanical designs, systems and drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-discipline design teams, owners and contractors.
• Coordinate with external vendors, internal teams and manufacturers.
• Major equipment selection and scheduling.
