The Mechanical Engineer will design mechanical and plumbing systems for data centers and related facilities, lead project delivery through design and construction, and coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Mechanical Engineering design experience designing mechanical systems for data centers or other mission critical projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Valid Mechanical P.E. license preferred.
• Experience working independently, managing priorities and providing mentorship to junior staff.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and energy codes.
• Ability to think strategically and demonstrate flexibility in order to achieve long-range objectives.
• Self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity and motivated to work as a team.
• Top-notch organization, attention to detail combined with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, BIM and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Independently drive projects forward throughout design and construction phases.
• Design mechanical and plumbing systems for data centers.
• Oversee the production of all mechanical designs, systems and drawings.
• Work amongst a cross-discipline design team, owners, and contractors to develop drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with external vendors, internal design teams and manufacturers.
• Major equipment selection and scheduling.
