Job summary

Meade is a full-service design firm seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer III to join our design team. The role centers on designing electrical systems for data centers, industrial buildings, offices and other high‑profile projects, collaborating with MEI staff, clients, vendors and external disciplines.

Travel to job sites may be required for observations and client meetings. You will review submittals, perform design calculations, sign and seal projects, and mentor junior engineers while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 4+ years of electrical engineering design experience in construction expected.
• P.E. license or EIT certification preferred.
• Experience designing power systems for large commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems and perform design calculations.
• Review, signing and sealing of projects.
• Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and record drawings; participate in site visits and commissioning.
• Write and edit electrical equipment specifications and select equipment and devices.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
