Job summary

Meade is a full-service design firm seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our design team. The role focuses on designing mechanical and plumbing systems for data centers and high-profile construction projects, with collaborative work across vendors, clients, and internal teams.

Travel to job sites may be required for observations and client meetings. Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical PE license (preferred) and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, with 4+ years of relevant

Qualifications

4+ years of Mechanical Engineering design experience for data centers or similar mission-critical projects.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Valid Mechanical P.E. license preferred.
Experience mentoring junior staff and managing priorities.

Responsibilities

Independently drive projects forward through design and construction phases.
Design mechanical and plumbing systems for data centers.
Oversee production of mechanical designs, systems and drawings.
Collaborate with cross-discipline teams, owners and contractors to develop drawings.
Coordinate with vendors, internal teams and manufacturers.
Lead major equipment selection and scheduling.
