Rimkus seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer Consultant to lead design and assessment of mechanical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial facilities. You’ll evaluate existing systems, drive project execution, and support client relationships nationwide.

The role requires 8+ years of mechanical design experience, a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, and strong communication skills. PE licensure is preferred and BIM proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; 8+ years of design experience.
• PE licensure preferred; experience leading projects and coordinating teams.
• Strong communication, writing, and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion with cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Serve as primary client contact, ensuring deliverables are on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate with licensed professionals and multidisciplinary teams to deliver reports and designs.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, scopes of work, and construction documents.
