Location: Paducah, KY. This is a full-time, onsite position. Remote options are unavailable.

CMTA is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in Consulting Engineering. This position involves working with a team of engineers to design mechanical systems for energy-efficient buildings for various clients. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, client-focused, with a strong technical background, and involved in all project phases.

Desired Experience:

• 10+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer
• EIT or PE certification
• Project management experience
• Client interfacing skills
• Experience with cooling and heating plants
• MEP design expertise
• Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD

The role includes managing projects, designing heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and plumbing systems for bidding and construction. Additional responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer responses
• Attending meetings with owners, clients, or architects
• Guiding staff engineers on energy-efficient design implementations
• Reviewing contractor submittals for conformance
• Applying standard engineering techniques and procedures
• Collaborating with engineers and personnel to resolve issues
• Researching and analyzing customer proposals and specifications
• Specifying system components or directing modifications
• Researching, designing, and evaluating mechanical products and systems
• Providing feedback to design engineers regarding customer needs
