CMTA is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in Consulting Engineering. This position will work with a team of engineers to design energy-efficient buildings for various clients. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, client-focused, and technically skilled, involved in all project phases.

Duties

• Manage projects and design HVAC and plumbing systems for buildings
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

• Guide staff on energy-efficient design implementation
• Review contractor submittals for compliance
• Apply engineering techniques and procedures
• Collaborate with engineers and personnel to resolve issues
• Research and evaluate customer proposals and specifications
• Specify system components and modifications
• Design and evaluate mechanical products and systems
• Provide feedback on customer needs and problems
