Job summary

Stantec seeks a Principal Healthcare Mechanical Engineer in Denver to lead complex projects, guide mechanical design for healthcare facilities, and grow the regional practice. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 15+ years of related professional experience in healthcare mechanical engineering.
• PE license required.
• LEED AP credential preferred.
• HFDP certification valued.
• Lean/IPD, Design-Build, or Design-Assist delivery experience is a plus.
• Experience with healthcare systems and clients is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of healthcare mechanical systems across projects.
• Grow the Health Sector Engineering practice in the Mountain Region and US West.
• Mentor engineers and production staff, fostering technical excellence.
• Drive business development and nurture client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare codes, standards, and project delivery quality.
• Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, risks, and performance.
