Job summary

CONVERGIX Automation Solutions in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and support projects from concept through completion, driving progress with minimal oversight.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate complex concepts into clear technical information, and mentor engineers while ensuring on-time, within-scope delivery. Travel within US/Canada may be required.

Qualifications

Significant mechanical engineering leadership experience, 8–10+ years in capital equipment and custom automation.
Proven ability to deliver complex projects from concept to FAT/SAT.
Solid technical leadership with design analysis, risk assessment and acceptance testing.
Excellent communication to present to internal teams, customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

Steer mechanical direction of projects with cross-functional input.
Interface with customers to understand needs (commercial and technical).
Translate technical concepts into clear information for various audiences.
Ensure design solutions meet defined requirements and functional needs.
Oversee mechanical design execution across full project lifecycle and BOM management.
