Job summary

K2M Design is seeking a positive Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our culture and meet the demanding needs of clients through expert design for large, complex projects.

This role requires 5+ years in AEC engineering, a PE license, and Revit proficiency. Applicants must reside in EST or CST time zones; ABET-accredited degree is required. Join a team focused on trust, collaboration, and delivering value for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Science from an ABET-accredited college or university.
• 5+ years experience in the field of AEC Engineering.
• Professional Engineering License (PE).
• Revit proficiency required.
• Position only available to candidates residing in EST and CST time zones.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional engineering consultation in planning, design, and coordination of large, complex projects.
• Acts as liaison with Project Management, Architects, other Engineers, and consultants.
• Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
• Develops and represents the lead technical viewpoint on projects.
• Coordinates with Director on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies.
• Coordinates activities and provides developmental support/training to less experienced staff.
• Uses skills to resolve conflicting design requirements.
• Provides QA/QC review of deliverables.
• Prepares reports and client correspondence on assigned projects.
• Travels for client meetings, consultant coordination, site surveys, construction administration, etc. 15% of time reserved for travel.
