K2M Design is seeking engineers who bring a positive culture and expertise to complex projects in the United States. An engineer will act as an SME across design tasks, collaborating with project teams and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role emphasizes accountability, structured planning, and effective communication, with travel as part of client coordination. PE is preferred, and time-zone eligibility is EST/CST is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science from an ABET accredited college.
• 5+ years of experience in the field of AEC Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Position available to candidates residing in EST and CST time zones.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional engineering consultation for large, complex projects.
• Liaises with Project Management, Architects, other Engineers, and consultants.
• Develops new techniques and procedures for complex assignments.
• Represents the lead technical viewpoint on projects.
• Coordinates with Director on technical solutions and product strategies.
• Coaches and trains less experienced staff.
• Resolves conflicting design requirements.
• Provides QA/QC review of deliverables.
• Prepares reports and client correspondence on assigned projects.
• Travels for client meetings and site activities (15% travel).
