K2M Design is seeking a positive Mechanical Engineer to join our culture-driven team, delivering design solutions for large, complex projects. This role emphasizes collaboration with project teams and clients, leveraging expertise to meet demanding requirements.

The position is remote for the right candidate, with travel for on-site reviews and coordination. A strong background in Revit and ABET-accredited degree supports shaping outcomes across diverse AEC projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science from ABET-accredited college or university.
• 5+ years experience in the field of AEC Engineering.
• Professional Engineering License.
• Revit proficiency, required.
• Position available to candidates residing in EST and CST time zones.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional engineering design for large, complex projects.
• Acts as liaison with Project Management, Architects, other Engineers, and consultants.
• Develops new or improved techniques and procedures.
• Represents lead technical viewpoint on projects.
• Coordinates technical solutions and product strategies with Director.
• Mentors less experienced staff.
• Resolves conflicting design requirements.
• Provides QA/QC review of deliverables.
• Prepares reports and client correspondence.
