Job summary

K2M Design is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our collaborative team. You will apply your experience to design mechanical systems for large, complex commercial projects, delivering reliable, cost-effective solutions and building relationships with clients.

Based in a hybrid environment, you will travel up to 15% of the time. A bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET‑accredited program and 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience are required; Revit proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science from an ABET-accredited program.
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Revit proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, exhaust, and specialty systems) for large commercial/public buildings.
• Perform assignments using standard engineering techniques on small projects or segments of larger projects.
• Produce high-quality drawings and specifications; develop data sheets and calculations.
• Support construction administration, drawing reviews, and RFIs; assist in field work.
• Travel up to 15% as required by project assignments.
