Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of analytical instruments for life sciences and diagnostics. You will own hardware development from concept through prototyping, collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure robust, manufacturable solutions.

Based in San Jose, this on-site role offers cross-disciplinary exposure and opportunities to advance instrumentation platforms with rapid iterations and field

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering required with 5–7 years of industry experience or Master's with 3–5 years of industry experience.
• Strong expertise in mechanisms, product design, and tolerance analysis.
• Experience with manufacturing processes (machining, molding, extrusion) and CAD data management is desirable.
