Textron Systems is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Designer to support weapon system development for the Advanced Programs team.

The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years in mechanical design and comfort with cognizant design for military applications. Proficiency with Siemens NX, GD&T, ASME Y14 standards and DFMA practices is essential, along with the ability to deliver drawings, 3D models, and BOMs with formal documentation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as mechanical designer or 8+ years with Associate Degree in Drafting and Design Technology.
• Experience with Siemens NX and GD&T.
• Active Secret clearance; SAP clearance eligible; Top Secret preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs and 3D models for weapon system projects.
• Prepare drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation per MIL-Spec and ASME.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for DFMA and manufacturability.
