Textron Systems is seeking a Sr Mechanical Designer with 10+ years in mechanical and tooling design for military applications. You will generate NX CAD files, create detailed drawings, and develop data packages that meet military specs and GD&T standards.

The role requires collaboration with engineering teams on manufacturability (DFMA) and tolerance analysis, with a focus on precision and reliability in defense hardware.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in mechanical and tooling/handling equipment design.
• Experience with military applications and fabrication environments.
• Siemens NX with GD&T knowledge preferred.

Responsabilités

• Generate high quality 2D and 3D CAD files in NX.
• Prepare/update detail/design drawings and Indented Parts Lists for military applications.
• Apply ANSI Y14.5 GD&T and military standards in data packages.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on DFMA design solutions.
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis calculations.
