Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to support strategic weapon system development within the Advanced Programs team. The role requires a minimum of 10 years in mechanical design, familiarity with GD&T, and strong Siemens NX CAD skills.

Security clearance (Active Secret, SAP eligible; TS preferred) is desired along with the ability to work in a team on complex electro-mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of mechanical design experience, preferably for military applications.
• Experience with tooling/handling equipment design and integration.

Responsabilités

• Develop technical solutions for complex Mechanical Design problems.
• Detail design of electro-mechanical devices, subsystems, cabling, and equipment; model, draft and analyze tolerances with an integrated team.
• Prepare high-quality engineering documentation per ASME Y14.100 and MIL-Spec standards.
• Apply ANSI Y14.5 GD&T, military standards, and manufacturing/assembly processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on DFMA and manufacturability considerations.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and tooling integration for fabrication and assembly.
• Ensure proper release of engineering drawings and configuration management for production.
