Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a skilled Electrical Designer II to support the development of electrical design deliverables for power generation, renewable energy, BESS, data centers, substations, transmission, and industrial infrastructure projects. This role independently executes design assignments and develops detailed drawings and models from concept through construction.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Design, Drafting, Engineering Technology or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of electrical design/drafting experience.
Experience in power generation, EPC, industrial, utility, or infrastructure projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and revise electrical design deliverables for power generation, renewable energy, BESS, data centers, and industrial facilities.
Prepare and update single-line diagrams, electrical plan drawings, conduit and cable tray layouts, grounding and bonding systems, lighting and power plans.
Support design of electrical systems including MV/LV distribution, MCCs, cable routing, and interconnection systems.
Incorporate engineering markups and revisions into final deliverables.
Develop and maintain 3D electrical models and coordinate changes across disciplines.
Assist with clash detection, vendor model integration, and CAD standard compliance.
Support project execution from conceptual design through construction and field verification.
