Job summary

Mikros Technologies, a Jabil company, seeks a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to guide complex mechanical hardware designs and a small design team in Claremont, NH. You will ensure milestones, mentor engineers, and lead technical reviews while aligning specifications with outputs.

Responsibilities include prototype assembly, supplier coordination, and communicating technical aspects to customers. A BS in Mechanical Engineering (MS/PhD preferred) and 8+ years experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• MSME/PhD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design teams and manage a small group of design engineers.
• Review design requirements with system architects and define mechanical/thermal architecture.
• Assemble prototypes and verify form/fit/function.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and provide inputs to product roadmaps.
• Lead design reviews and communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and manage design trade-offs across complex projects.
