Job summary

Jabil is seeking an experienced engineering leader to provide strategic and operational direction for the Mikros Technologies Engineering organization. You will guide a multidisciplinary team through concept to commercialization while ensuring long-term performance of released products.

You will shape engineering processes, standards, and capabilities to drive innovation, quality, and cost efficiency across hardware programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field is required.
Master's degree in Engineering, Technology Management, or Business preferred.
Minimum 10 years of progressive engineering experience.
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing engineering teams.
Experience leading hardware manufacturing, technology, defense, or industrial environments; materials/metallurgy experience preferred.
Proven track record of delivering complex programs and organizational results.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Mikros Technologies Engineering organization.
Lead engineering managers, technical leads, and staff to build a high-performing team.
Oversee product lifecycle including concept through prototype, production, and sustainment.
Standardize processes, drive continuous improvement, and monitor KPIs.
Collaborate with Product Management, Factory Enablement, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Sales.
Manage departmental budgets and capital expenditure plans; support technology investments.
Communicate performance, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership.
