Our client, a manufacturer of temperature sensors, compression seal fittings, and cable and harness assemblies, seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design precision products from concept to production release. You will translate requirements, create 3D CAD models and drawings, perform tolerance analysis, and collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to deliver reliable solutions.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Progressive experience designing mechanical products through production release.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD, detailed drawings, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and engineering change control.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing methods, mechanical interfaces, and design verification.

Responsabilidades

• Translate customer requirements and application conditions into product specifications and detailed design concepts.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, production drawings, bills of materials, and design documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, and design risk assessments.
• Design components and assemblies with consideration of temperature, pressure, sealing, interfaces, and manufacturability.
• Develop prototype and validation plans, evaluate test results, and refine designs to meet performance requirements.
• Lead or contribute to design reviews and resolve technical issues with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.
• Support new product introduction, engineering changes, and troubleshooting of production or field performance concerns.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers and improve design practices and reusable engineering knowledge.
