Zaddy Solutions, on behalf of a client manufacturer of temperature sensors, sealing fittings, and cable assemblies, seeks a Senior Engineering Manager.

You will lead product design engineering, guide complex design decisions, and develop engineers while ensuring project delivery and product quality. This role requires strategic leadership and hands-on direction across architecture, reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Progressive product design engineering experience with responsibility for complex decisions and design delivery.
• Engineering leadership experience managing people, priorities, and multiple development projects.
• Strong command of mechanical design, CAD, GD&T, materials, and verification methods.
• Ability to stay technically engaged in detailed design reviews and guide engineers through difficult problems.
• Clear communication with customers, commercial teams, manufacturing personnel, and senior leadership.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the engineering team, establish priorities, allocate resources, and manage project commitments.
• Provide hands-on technical direction for product architecture, mechanical design, materials selection, tolerances, and design verification.
• Lead design reviews and address risks before release.
• Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications and validation plans.
• Oversee drawings, BOMs, design calculations, and controlled product release.
• Collaborate with sales and customers on feasibility, requirements, proposals, and custom solutions.
• Work with manufacturing and quality to improve manufacturability and support new product introduction.
• Build engineering capability through coaching and establishing technical standards.
