Essenti Talent is recruiting on behalf of a client that designs and manufactures temperature sensors, compression seal fittings, and cable and harness assemblies. The Senior Product Design Engineer will lead the design and development of precision products from concept to production release, blending hands-on mechanical design with analysis and close collaboration with manufacturing teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Progressive experience designing mechanical products or precision engineered assemblies through production release.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD, detailed drawings, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and engineering change control.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing methods, mechanical interfaces, and design verification.

Responsabilidades

• Translate customer requirements into product specifications.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, production drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, and design risk assessments.
• Design components and assemblies considering temperature, pressure, sealing, interfaces, and manufacturability.
• Develop prototype and validation plans, evaluate test results, and refine designs to meet performance requirements.
• Lead or contribute to design reviews and resolve technical issues with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.
• Support new product introduction, engineering changes, and troubleshooting of production or field performance concerns.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers and improve design practices and reusable engineering knowledge.
