Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience in industrial machinery or heavy equipment.
• Proficient in 3D CAD modeling and simulation (FEA, CFD).
• Strong understanding of machine dynamics, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex design challenges.
• Excellent analytical and detail-oriented approach.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to work remotely/hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex mechanical systems for industrial machinery using CAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks).
• Perform stress, strain, and fatigue analyses to validate designs.
• Create and maintain drawings, assembly instructions, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams for system integration.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee prototyping and testing of new designs; ensure performance specs are met.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and maintainability.
• Stay current with engineering tools, standards, and best practices.
• Lead design review meetings and contribute expert feedback.
