Placements24 is seeking a motivated Mechanical Systems Engineer for a hybrid role based in Welkom, Free State, ZA. You will design, analyze, and integrate complex mechanical systems, ensuring performance and reliability, while collaborating with cross-functional teams across electrical, software, and manufacturing domains.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3–5 years of design experience, with strong CAD and simulation skills, plus a solid grasp of stress

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of mechanical design/engineering experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles (stress, thermodynamics, fluids).
• Experience with hybrid work models and remote collaboration tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems according to project specifications and requirements.
• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure the integrity and performance of designs.
• Create and maintain detailed CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during design, development, or testing phases.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to enhance product quality and manufacturability.
• Contribute to development and implementation of new engineering processes and methodologies.
