Placements24 is seeking a Lead Mechanical Systems Engineer for a pioneering renewable energy technology firm. The role is fully remote, empowering you to guide a talented team of mechanical engineers and shape complex electromechanical systems from anywhere.

You will define system requirements, perform thermal and structural analyses, select materials, and drive project delivery in a remote setting. Strong leadership and cross-disciplinary collaboration are essential.

Formación

• Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in mechanical engineering with at least 3 years in a lead or senior technical role.
• Extensive experience in design and development of electromechanical systems or mechatronics.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the architectural design and development of intricate mechanical systems with seamless integration of subsystems.
• Provide technical leadership to a remote team of mechanical engineers and foster high-performance collaboration.
• Define system requirements, specs, and performance targets for new product development.
• Conduct thermal, structural, and fatigue analyses to validate designs.
• Oversee material selection, components, and manufacturing processes for performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables for remote mechanical system development.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in design, analysis, and documentation.
• Lead design reviews and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, project management, and stakeholders.
