Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks an experienced Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer to join our defense and space systems team. You’ll design, analyze, and integrate rocket propulsion components with a focus on safety, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities include CAD modeling with GD&T, mass estimation, materials development, and multidisciplinary simulations (thermal, structural, dynamic). Travel up to 10% and ITAR/compliance awareness are required; rocket motor design and testing experience is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 7–10 years mechanical engineering experience.
• Rocket motor design and testing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize rocket components including actuators and housings.
• Create 2D/3D models, GD&T, and precise drawings.
• Lead manufacturing planning, quality checks, and assembly guidance.
• Perform simulations for structural, thermal, and dynamic analysis.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on procurement and risk.
