Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a seasoned mechanical/aerospace engineer to lead design and optimization of rocket motor systems, including actuators, igniters, and thrust components. You will evaluate trade studies, oversee CAD modeling, and ensure compliance with stringent aerospace standards.

The role requires 7–10 years in mechanical engineering, a BS in engineering, and the ability to obtain ITAR/export authorizations and a US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering required.
• 7–10 years of mechanical engineering experience required (equivalent experience considered).
• Must be able to obtain US export controls clearances and a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize rocket motor components and subsystems.
• Lead manufacturing planning, QA and assembly tasks for complex propulsion hardware.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR and security requirements, and communicate with cross-functional teams.
