KingRecruitingServices is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer for a Buffalo, NY manufacturer of temperature sensors, compression seal fittings, and cable and harness assemblies. This hands-on role focuses on taking concepts to production, with close collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and customers.

You will design precise mechanical products, create CAD models, perform analyses, develop prototypes, and lead design reviews.

Qualificações

• Translate customer requirements into product specifications and design concepts.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, production drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, and design risk assessments.
• Design components and assemblies with temperature, pressure, sealing, interfaces, and manufacturability in mind.
• Develop prototype and validation plans, evaluate test results, and refine designs to meet performance requirements.
• Lead or contribute to design reviews and resolve technical issues with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.
• Support new product introduction, engineering changes, and troubleshooting of production or field performance concerns.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers and improve design practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design components and assemblies with temperature, pressure, sealing, interfaces, and manufacturability as applicable.
• Develop prototype and validation plans, evaluate test results, and refine designs to meet performance requirements.
• Lead or contribute to design reviews and resolve technical issues with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.
• Support new product introduction, engineering changes, and troubleshooting of production or field performance concerns.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers and improve design practices and reusable engineering knowledge.
