Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is recruiting a Senior Product Design Engineer to design precision mechanical assemblies from concept to production release. You will work hands-on with customers and manufacturing teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Responsibilities include translating requirements into robust specifications, maintaining CAD models and drawings, performing tolerance analyses, and supporting NPI and design verification. Experience with sensors and seals is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Progressive experience designing mechanical products through production release.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD, detailed drawings, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and ECR.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing methods, interfaces, and verification.
• Ability to manage technical work independently and collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into product specifications and design concepts.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and design docs.
• Perform calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, and risk assessments.
• Design components with temperature, pressure, sealing, interfaces, and manufacturability in mind.
• Develop prototypes and validation plans, evaluate results, and refine designs.
• Lead or contribute to design reviews and resolve technical issues with teams.
• Support NPI, ECOs, and troubleshoot production or field performance concerns.
• Provide guidance to less experienced engineers and improve design practices.
