Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer to design precision products and assemblies from concept to production release. You will lead 3D CAD modeling, drawings, BOMs, and documentation while collaborating with customers and manufacturing teams to ensure reliable solutions.

The role requires strong mechanical design skills, GD&T application, and experience across materials, interfaces, and manufacturing methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Progressive experience in mechanical product design through production release.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD, detailed drawings, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and engineering change control.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing methods, mechanical interfaces, and design verification.
• Ability to independently manage technical work and collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into product specifications and design concepts.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, production drawings, BOMs, and design docs.
• Perform engineering calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, and risk assessments.
• Design components with temperature, pressure, sealing, interfaces, and manufacturability in mind.
• Develop prototype and validation plans, evaluate results, and refine designs.
