Job summary

RINA is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for our Houston, TX site, with alternative locations in Sunrise, FL or Chicago/Lisle, IL. The role focuses on leading robust mechanical designs for industrial plants and energy systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

You will coordinate across disciplines, support procurement and commissioning, and mentor junior staff while driving quality, cost control, and schedule adherence in a global engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical design for industrial plants or energy systems.
• Proficiency with ASME VIII, EN 13445, API, ISO and NFPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex mechanical design activities and coordinate specifications, datasheets and BOMs.
• Review requirements and client specs to establish reliable design inputs.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces.
