Job summary

Hydrasearch, a U.S. manufacturer of fluid-transfer and control systems, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead product development from concept through production.

You will own designs, create 3D CAD models and drawings, and guide projects through validation and lifecycle support in a collaborative environment. The role emphasizes strong engineering judgment, practical problem solving, and interaction with Manufacturing, Quality, customers, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience with increasing responsibility in mechanical design, product development or manufacturing engineering.
• Proven ability to own projects from concept through production and lifecycle support.
• Strong 3D CAD modeling and drawing creation; solid understanding of statics, tolerances and manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex product development and engineering projects from requirements through validation, production release and lifecycle support.
• Design and improve mechanical components and assemblies; create 3D CAD models and drawings; apply GD&T principles from concept to production.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and production teams to troubleshoot issues and drive process improvements.
• Lead efforts to improve product quality, reliability, manufacturability, cost and production efficiency; manage engineering changes.
