Job summary

Hydrasearch is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Stevensville, MD to design and improve fluid-transfer components and mechanical hardware for demanding applications.

You will create 3D CAD models and drawings, apply GD&T, prototype, test, and work with cross-functional teams from concept through production. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential; AS9100/ISO knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of engineering experience; internships or co-op welcome.
• Assemble, test, and document mechanical designs with a manufacturing focus.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve mechanical components and assemblies; create 3D CAD models and drawings; apply GD&T; support prototyping and testing.
• Maintain documentation; support production and assembly; troubleshoot issues and establish inspection requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to meet technical requirements and resolve issues.
• Support engineering changes and revision control; contribute to product development.
