• Experience analyzing stamping feasibility for sheet metal automotive parts.
• Ability to communicate with assembly plants and suppliers on development issues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with product development process including design for manufacturing.
• Lead design peer review and product development team meetings.
• Evaluate prototype performance and identify improvements.
• Coordinate mechanical tasks with cross-functional teams.
• Review 2D drawings and 3D models; apply GD&T.
• Perform root cause analysis of system-level design and production issues.
