Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or foreign equivalent.
2 years of experience in product design/development in the automotive industry.
Experience creating models with CAD software (CATIA, Unigraphics, SolidWorks, ProE, Autodesk Inventor, or AutoCAD).
Experience with full product lifecycle launch, FEA/CAE analysis, DVP&R and DFMEA development, and PDM software (SolidWorks Vault or Windchill).
Understanding stamping feasibility for sheet metal automotive applications.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and release components for new powered industrial truck products.
Develop parts including welded steel assemblies, metal castings, plastic parts, rubber parts, and electrical components.
Create 3D models, drawings, and study files using CAD software.
Manage files using PDM software and ensure drawing quality and design intent.
Validate designs using FEA/CAE and participate in design reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet manufacturability, cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Create and manage development schedules to meet project deadlines.
