Our alignment products and team focus on making machinery calibration easier by providing intuitive, easy-to-use systems that set industry standards for accuracy, speed, and broad applicability, while maintaining high support and service levels.

We are currently seeking an onsite Senior Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and testing new laser alignment products, as well as training production technicians on building them. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude and hands-on optical and mechanical engineering experience to ensure our product designs are intuitive and easy to assemble.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test new laser alignment products.
• Train production technicians on product assembly.
• Generate detailed drawings for manufacturing using SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with electronic engineers and integrate PCB designs into mechanical systems.
• Ensure high-quality standards in prototyping and production.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in mechanical engineering, with experience in product design and testing; optics experience is a plus.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering; a master's degree is a plus.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Experience with prototyping, testing, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of engineering practices, drawing generation, and quality control.
• Experience interfacing with electronic components and understanding electronic concepts.
• Experience with laser alignment or calibration systems is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving attitude and independence.
• Familiarity with machining tools such as lathes, grinders, and machining centers is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows OS.
