Job summary

CFS in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning, turnover, and warranty. You will own programs in advanced technology environments, shaping strategy, budgets, and client engagement.

You'll mentor junior staff, manage cross-functional teams (mechanical, BAS, field operations), and drive account growth while delivering safe, on-schedule, high-quality results for strategic clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in mechanical construction project management.
• Experience managing scope, budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, hydronic systems, controls/BAS, and commissioning.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning, closeout, and warranty turnover.
• Manage project financial performance, schedules, scope, safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain client relationships while identifying new project opportunities and supporting account growth.
• Oversee estimating, proposals, procurement, budgeting, forecasting, change orders, and contract administration.
• Coordinate field operations, subcontractors, vendors, and technical project delivery activities.
• Mentor junior project staff and provide leadership on project execution, risk management, and customer engagement.
