Job summary

CFS is seeking a Project Engineer for Mechanical / Advanced Technology Projects in Santa Clara, CA. You will work on cleanroom HVAC, process piping, and specialty utility systems, coordinating with PMs, field leadership, vendors, and clients through the full project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes hands‑on construction exposure, early responsibility in design‑build environments, and growth into technical leadership with long‑term career potential.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 2–5 years of mechanical construction experience or related technical role.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, specifications, P&IDs and coordination documents.
• Experience with project coordination, procurement, scheduling, and document control.

Responsibilities

• Support project coordination, procurement, scheduling, cost tracking, and project documentation.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and vendor documentation for coordination and constructability.
• Assist with RFIs, change orders, meeting documentation, and project communications.
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and general contractors to resolve project issues.
• Track equipment procurement, material deliveries, fabrication progress, and installation readiness.
• Support commissioning, startup activities, closeout documentation, and warranty turnover.
