Job summary

CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial mechanical construction projects in Fremont, CA.

You will oversee execution, client relationships, budgets and schedules, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of PM experience in mechanical or MEP sectors, strong leadership, and proficiency with Procore and BIM-related tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management in commercial construction.
• Strong experience in HVAC, plumbing, piping, or MEP projects.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and contract documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook).
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial mechanical projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
• Maintain full accountability for project financial performance: budgets, forecasting, cost control, billing, profitability.
• Develop and execute project plans, schedules, procurement strategies, and staffing requirements.
• Manage relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and vendors.
• Review contracts, change orders, and project-related agreements.
• Oversee project procurement activities, including subcontractor and vendor buyouts.
• Monitor project progress and address schedule, budget, labor, and operational challenges.
• Lead project meetings and ensure effective communication among participants.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract administration activities.
• Collaborate closely with field leadership for efficient execution and resource allocation.
• Support BIM, prefabrication, and design-build initiatives to improve outcomes.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Oversee closeout activities, including documentation, as-built drawings, commissioning, and warranties.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other team members.
