Job summary

TechStar Group is seeking a senior mechanical/construction professional to lead field engineering, startup activities, and commissioning for industrial projects in Kentucky. You will review submittals, drawings, and RFIs while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

The role requires 10+ years in industrial/construction, strong technical knowledge, and proficiency with AutoCAD/Bluebeam. OSHA 10 and PMP certifications are preferred or will be pursued.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in industrial or commercial construction projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction means and methods.
• Proficient in drawing review and field applications.
• OSHA 10 certification; willingness to obtain OSHA 30.
• PMP certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare field engineering status reports for project managers.
• Provide input to improve project technical specifications and standards.
• Effectively communicate technical matters in written & verbal formats.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise project commitments.
• Implement building construction projects to support site needs.
• Coordinate construction scheduling and communication.
• Manage daily construction and RFI support.
• Act as liaison between field construction and project management.
• May handle estimates, schedules, materials, and purchase orders.
• Supervise construction activity in the field.
