Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in industrial or commercial construction projects.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Automotive or industrial manufacturing experience is a plus.
• 5+ years in mechanical design field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD & Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate mechanical building system startups & commissioning activities.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, engineering designs and specs; respond to RFIs.
• Follow safety procedures compliant with OSHA requirements including Lock-Out and arc flash safety.
• Coordinate weekend and plant shutdown work with contractors and shop facilities.
• Monitor compliance with codes (IBC, NEC, NFPA, ASME, AWS, ASHRAE, etc.).
• Support project management with scheduling, RFI handling, and field coordination.
• Oversee field construction activities and coordinate equipment delivery and installation.
• Coordinate RFIs and Field Change Orders and communicate progress to PMs.
