Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering in Los Alamos, NM seeks an experienced Engineering Technologist 3 to check design definitions for the W93 program. You will apply Creo CAD, GD&T, and MBd to ensure producible, compliant hardware and mentor junior staff in design practices.

The role supports a high-stakes weapon-system program, collaborating with diverse teams and maintaining rigorous standards while delivering expert solutions under limited direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Math or related field from an accredited institution.
• 8 years of directly related experience; or an equivalent combination.
• Experience checking Creo models and drawings for form, fit, and function and MBd.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14 standards, GD&T, and weapon-system configuration management workflows.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and lead design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Check Creo models and drawings for accuracy and conformance to specs.
• Perform tolerance and stack analyses and ensure producibility.
• Apply MBd concepts and GD&T to design definitions.
• Support design teams in weapon-system development and verification.
• Lead design reviews and collaborate across disciplines.
