Job summary

Facility Optimization Solutions LLC, a Cannon Design affiliate, seeks a Mechanical Assessor to lead the mechanical and plumbing portions of facility condition assessments across healthcare, education, sports, public, and commercial sectors.

The role involves observing, documenting, and recommending corrective actions with budget estimates while guiding junior team members and coordinating with clients and project managers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience in mechanical/plumbing assessments preferred
• Healthcare/education facility experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 40% for out-of-town assignments

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and plumbing portions of facility condition assessments
• Identify deficiencies and provide recommendations with budget estimates
• Support and mentor junior Assessors on projects
• Interface with clients and facility staff
• Prepare project progress documentation for PM review
• Review peers' work and participate in post-project reviews
