Cannon Design's Facility Optimization Solutions LLC seeks a Mechanical Assessor to lead mechanical and plumbing facility condition assessments across healthcare, education, sports, public and commercial sectors.

The role is remote within the U.S. with a preference for candidates near Buffalo, NY; Houston, TX; Denver, CO; Chicago, IL, and requires travel up to 40% for field assignments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in mechanical and plumbing facility condition assessments.
• Experience evaluating HVAC, plumbing, and related building equipment.
• Experience with healthcare and educational facilities is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; ability to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and plumbing assessments on diverse asset types.
• Observe, document deficiencies, and provide costed recommendations and budget estimates.
• Supervise junior assessors and ensure quality within the mechanical discipline.
• Interface with client facility staff and project managers; prepare progress and review outputs.
