Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent experience.
• Extensive, ground-up custom equipment design in heavy machinery or high-speed automation.
• Expert fluency with SolidWorks for large assemblies and detailed drawings.
• Understanding of welding, fabrication, and precision machining tolerances.
• Proven project management history and stable employment record.
• Residence within driving distance of Brown Deer, WI, US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Ground-up machine architecture for high-speed automated machinery and robotic cells.
• Develop concepts and coordinate with project managers on cost-effective solutions.
• Lead internal detailers and coordinate with external fabricators and partners.
• Integrate fluid power, drive systems, hydraulics, and servo components.
• Conduct safety reviews and verify design integrity before shop release.
• Serve as technical contact for global clients and manage BOM releases on time.
