Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to own the ground-up machine architecture for custom robotic cells and high‑speed automation in Brown Deer, WI. The role is 1st shift, 100% onsite, with a clear path to senior leadership in a high-growth OEM environment.

The successful candidate will design complex machinery in SolidWorks, lead projects from concept through fabrication, and collaborate with controls and fabrication teams to ensure quality, safety, and timely

Qualifications

• BSME degree or 5–10 years of ground-up custom equipment design experience.
• Expert SolidWorks fluency modeling large assemblies and drafting production-ready drawings.
• Manufacturing acuity in weldments, materials, and precision machining tolerances.
• Proven project management history with strong tenure and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead ground-up machine architecture for high-speed, multi-axis automated machinery and robotic work cells.
• Develop concepts and collaborate with Project Managers to brainstorm cost-effective automated solutions.
• Break down design scopes into milestones and coordinate with internal detailers/designers and external fabricators.
• Integrate hydraulic, pneumatic, and servo drive systems with advanced engineering principles.
• Conduct early design reviews to ensure safety and shop release readiness.
• Serve as technical contact for global clients while managing BOM releases and on-site collaboration.
